Almonds are not considered less than a boon for health. It is said that this helps in improving brain health. Because this nutrient is called store. It is considered beneficial for brain, heart, weight managing and over all health. Therefore, many people eat almonds soaked every morning or include it in their diet in different ways. According to the healthline, almonds contain nutrients like fiber, protein, fat, vitamin E, manganese and magnesium. It contains many antioxidants, which help reduce oxidative stress. A recent study also said that eating more than 60 grams of almonds daily can help reduce oxidative stress.
What does study say?
A research published in The Journal of Nutrition has revealed that if a person consumes more than 60 grams of almonds daily, it improves their antioxidant level. This helps in reducing the biomarker of oxidative stress, which has a direct effect in better DNA protection and healthy cells.
Oxidative stress occurs when the body gets harmful molecules called free radicals, causing damage to cells and it accelerates the aging process. Healthy fat, antioxidants and healthy fat present in almonds act as a small protector and help the cells fight damage and support your body to cellular levels.

In this test, the youths who smoke in this test were asked to eat 84 grams of almonds daily. The result has seen a decrease in oxidative DNA damage around 28 percent, lipid peroxidation around 34 percent and DNA stand brakes about 23 percent. Also, antioxidant enzyme activity also improves. This has shown that consuming almonds can also work in a situation like high stress like smoking. 60 grams of almonds are more than a handful of almonds. It has about two whole serving or about 40 to 45 whole almonds. Bioactive compounds such as vitamin E, flavonoids and polyphenols present in it reach the protective limit.
Eating less almonds also benefits, but if 60 grams of almonds are eaten daily, then the effect of antioxidant is more effective. Almonds contain antioxidants, which help reduce oxidative stress. Both vitamin E and flavonoids present in it are beneficial in preventing anti -aging and in many ways. Eating almonds daily creates a powerful armor for maintaining energy and cells. But this requires more studies.
