How to make moss stick at home
Although ready-made moss sticks are available in the markets, but if you want to make moss sticks at home, then for this you should have coco peat fiber or coconut rope. Take thin PVC pipe, thin mesh, thread or thin wire and a spray bottle with water-
- To make moss sticks, first cut the PVC pipe to the size you want the plant to grow. Usually one to two feet is fine for this.
- In the second step, slightly soak the coco moss or sphagnum moss with water. Wet moss easily sticks to the stick.
- Now wrap the moss around the stick and press it with your hands.
- Tie the moss tightly with the help of rope or thread. Keep in mind that the moss should not be loose at all.
- Now place the prepared moss stick in the soil of the plant by pressing it lightly.
- Mount the plant’s vine or vine on a stick and tie it with a light thread or a thin clip.
- To maintain the moss stick, sprinkle water on the stick with a spray bottle two to three times a week.
- Always keep the moss slightly wet and change the moss after 3 to 4 months.
