Gold-Silver Price Today: Amidst the ongoing tension between America and Iran and uncertainty in the global market, gold prices are continuously fluctuating. There was a lot of movement in the prices of both gold and silver on Thursday also. The prices of both sometimes rose and sometimes fell amid the possibility of further increase in interest rates by the US Federal Reserve and the expectation of less tension in West Asia.
Condition of gold and silver on MCX
On Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), gold for August delivery opened at Rs 1,40,672 per 10 grams, which was Rs 598 (0.42%) less than the previous closing price of Rs 1,41,270.
However, due to increased buying during trading, gold recovered and by 11:38 am, it rose by Rs 719 (0.50%) to reach an intra-day high of Rs 1,41,989 per 10 grams. At the same time, it also slipped to a low of Rs 1,40,543 in the day’s trading.
Talking about silver, the futures price for July delivery opened at Rs 2,10,308 per kg, which was Rs 2,767 (1.30%) less than the previous closing price of Rs 2,13,075.
