The Luthra Brothers say that they are being made victims of retaliatory action by the authorities. 25 people died in the massive fire that broke out on December 7. The incident took place in ‘Birch by Romeo Lane’, which is said to be linked to Luthra Brothers.

Both brothers are hiding in Thailand, Interpol notice issued

Interpol’s Blue Corner Notice continues against Luthra Brothers. Both are currently in Thailand and have refused to come to India. He says that he will be arrested as soon as he returns to India. Said in the application filed in the court, ‘We do not look after the day-to-day operation of the club. Club managers and on-ground staff run it all. Senior lawyers Siddharth Luthra and Tanveer Ahmed Mir appeared in the court on behalf of both.

In the court, their lawyer said that both the brothers want to return to India and present their case in the Goa court, but there is a possibility of arrest as soon as they land in Delhi. The lawyer said in the court, ‘We want to return to the country, but efforts are being made to arrest us immediately. The death of people is sad, but witch hunting is happening in its name. We just want a safe return.

Both brothers had fled just 5 hours after the Goa accident – ​​Police

Police claim that both the brothers fled to Thailand within 5 hours of the fire in the club. But in his application filed in the court, Saurabh Luthra said that he had gone to Thailand for a business meeting a day earlier, i.e. on 6th December. His lawyer Siddharth Luthra said in the court, ‘He had gone to Thailand for a professional meeting on December 6, the fire incident happened the next day.’

Demolishing of second club ‘act of revenge’

Luthra Brothers also said in their petition that their second club in Goa was demolished by the administration. According to him, this action proves that the administration is targeting him. The Goa government ordered the demolition of the club because it was built illegally and did not have safety measures. Chief Minister Pramod Sawant himself took immediate action. Meanwhile, Delhi’s Rohini Court has sought response from the Goa government on the transit anticipatory bail petition of Luthra Brothers. Now the matter will be heard tomorrow.
