Arshdeep Singh-Jasprit Bumrah: The entire Indian team dominated the first T20I played against South Africa in Cuttack. The result was that South Africa was forced to settle for a small score. Arshdeep Singh and Jasprit Bumrah played a big role in bowling out South Africa for 74 runs. Both these bowlers took 2-2 wickets in the Cuttack T20I. While doing this, both of them also kissed the milestone but after that, when the match ended, Arshdeep Singh’s statement about Bumrah in a funny tone caught everyone’s attention.

First welcomed, then took a pinch

After the end of the match in Cuttack, when the broadcaster channel asked questions to Arshdeep Singh, during that time he first welcomed Bumrah. But then the next moment she took a pinch.

Bumrah completed his 100 wickets in T20 International by taking his first victim in the first match against South Africa. He became the second Indian bowler after Arshdeep Singh to do so. In such a situation, when the broadcaster asked Arshdeep Singh about Bumrah’s achievement of 100th wicket, he said that he is welcome in our club.

After this, Arshdeep Singh was asked whether now Bumrah can also become a part of his reels like Virat Kohli. On this, Arshdeep Singh jokingly said that for that he will have to take more wickets. Meaning he is not that good yet. Earlier, after the last ODI played in Vizag, the reels made by Arshdeep with Virat had gone viral.

Arshdeep equaled Bhuvi

If Bumrah completed his 100 wickets in this format in the first T20 against South Africa, then Arshdeep Singh also achieved a milestone. He equaled Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s record of taking maximum 47 wickets in powerplay.

As far as the first T20 played in Cuttack is concerned, India had scored 175 runs for 6 wickets in 20 overs. In reply, South Africa got out cheaply against the target of 176 runs and lost the match by 74 runs.
