New Delhi: GTA Online players have circled this date on their calendar for weeks. The Mansions DLC called A Safehouse in the Hills finally arrives today, 10 December 2025. Rockstar usually drops updates on a Tuesday, so this Wednesday rollout surprised me a bit. I even double checked the announcement to be sure I was not mixing up the day.
For many of us who have spent years collecting apartments and garages, the idea of actually owning a mansion in Los Santos feels like a big deal. Many players have always wanted a house near the Vinewood sign. Maybe today is the day our character finally becomes rich for real.
GTA Online Mansion update timing in India
Rockstar shared region wise timings and India also gets a specific slot. The A Safehouse in the Hills update goes live at 3:30 PM IST. There is no pre download, so players will have to wait for the update to show up once the clock hits that time.
Other global timings include Los Angeles at 2 AM PST (3:30 PM IST), New York at 5 AM EST (3:30 PM IST), Paris at 11 AM CET (3:30 PM IST), Dubai at 2 PM GST (3:30 PM IST), and Tokyo at 7 PM JST (3:30 PM IST). So we are right in the same launch window as the rest of the world.
What the DLC brings for players
From what Rockstar shared, this is one of the biggest expansions in years. Here is what stands out.
Players can buy luxury mansions in Tongva Hills, Richman, and below the Vinewood sign. These are not just apartments. The world map will physically change to show the new estates. I find that really cool because it means GTA Online’s city keeps growing like a real place.
Mansions can be customised with pools, helipad spaces, garages, trophy rooms and décor themes like San Andreas Coastal, Los Santos Loft and Vinewood Regency. There is even a spot for a dog kennel which makes the homes feel alive.
The update also brings a new AI Concierge assistant called Haviland who helps with tasks. Private security can guard your gate and you can throw mansion parties with friends or total strangers.
Long time fans will notice another highlight. Michael De Santa appears in the trailer, suggesting new missions related to him are coming. There are fresh vehicles such as supercars, drift cars and even police style rides. A Mission Creator lets players design their own missions with objects and logic tools.
Final notes before you log in
If you completed the three New Listings missions before 7 December you already earned a discount of 2 million dollars and a 1 million bonus within 72 hours. That mission window is closed now.
