Mumbai: Pranit More, who bagged the 2nd runner-up title on Bigg Boss 19, in an exclusive interview with TV9, opened up about his time in the reality show. He also addressed accusations of using the Marathi card on the show.
Speaking to the interviewer, he stated, “In this show, if you do something good or bad, people will think that it was your strategy or that you played a card.” He explained, “ I didn’t want to do this thing. There were a couple of people in that house who knew a little bit of Marathi, so I would speak to them in Marathi, and that’s how it all started.”

Speaking of his outburst of emotions on the show, the stand-up comedian stated, “A few things came out in anger. And I became emotional because my job is to make people laugh. And if someone comes to you and says that you should go to your village, it means that they are demeaning you. I felt bad about that.” He added, “But I didn’t want to capitalise on this issue. Because there were a lot of such things in this house. But as you have seen in the show, I didn’t fall for such things.”
When asked if Bollywood was part of his plan, the comedian clearly stated his vision. “I want to do stand-up before Bigg Boss. So I will concentrate more on that. I will concentrate more on crowd work.” He added, “And I will avoid such topics which might hurt people. But I will try to be more subjective in humour. I will try my best.”
He ended the interview by thanking all Maharashtrian fans for their support. “And they have taken me so far. And I will continue to be the way I am. My journey here is over. But you can come to my live show. We will have a lot of fun. We will have a lot of fun. Thank you so much,” said More.
