On the occasion of the 90th birthday of late Bollywood superstar Dharmendra, the team of his film ‘Ikkis’ has shared his last message on social media. This message was shot by Dharam ji when the shooting of the film was completed. The film’s production company Maddock Films shared the video of Dharmendra’s last message on Instagram and wrote in its caption, “A tribute to an icon who lived for 9 decades, who told us that true greatness begins with humility.”

What Dharmendra said in his last message, “I am very happy to be with Maddock Films. Team, Captain Shri Ram (Raghavan) ji. The film has been made very well. I think both India and Pakistan should watch this picture. On the last day of shooting, I am a little happy and a little sad. When will Dharmendra’s film ‘Ikkis’ be released?
Made under the banner of Maddock Films, ‘Ikkis’ is a film based on the India-Pakistan war of 1971, in which Second Lieutenant Arun Khetrapal bravely sacrificed his life while facing the enemy. For bravery, he was posthumously awarded the Param Vir Chakra, the highest honor of the Indian Army. Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda is playing his role in ‘Ikkis’. Dharmendra will be seen in the role of his father ML Khetrapal in this film. Artists like Jaideep Ahlawat, Ekavali Khanna and Sikandar Kher will also be seen in the film. Made under the direction of Sriram Raghavan, this film will be released on 25 December 2025.
