India fined: The Indian cricket team won the ODI series against South Africa but now it has suffered a big shock. In fact, ICC has sentenced him after finding him guilty of slow over rate. The Indian cricket team has been punished for the second match of the ODI series. Team India had lost this match held in Raipur. The team lost the match despite scoring 358 runs and in the same match it completed the overs late, as a result now ICC has fined Team India. Team India’s match fee has been reduced by 10 percent.

Team India bowled so many overs slowly

Match referee Richie Richardson imposed this penalty on Team India because, keeping in mind the time allowance, KL Rahul’s team was found guilty of bowling two overs less than the target. Let us tell you that Indian players and supporting staff have been found guilty under Article 2.22 of the ICC Code of Conduct. According to ICC rules, if players fail to bowl in the stipulated time, they are fined five percent of the match fee for every over. Captain KL Rahul accepted the charges and the fine, after which there was no need for his hearing.

Solution has to be found for slow overs

The Indian cricket team will have to find some solution to the slow over rate because Team India had made this mistake in the Ranchi ODI also. Due to the slow over rate, the Indian team had to include an extra fielder in the last over. If this happens in the T20 series too, then we may have to pay again. Let us tell you that the first match of the T20 series between India and South Africa will be played in Cuttack. The series is of five matches. In the last series, India had defeated South Africa 3-1 at home.
