Lucknow Weather Update Today: As soon as the month of December starts, cold has started showing its effect in many states including North India. However, despite the cold wave, there is some relief news for UP. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has said that there will not be much change in the maximum temperature of the state in the next three days. However, after this, a gradual increase in the minimum temperature is expected to provide some relief from the coolness of the morning and evening.

Effect of cold winds and possibility of cold wave

However, there is a possibility of cold wave being more than normal in some districts of the state. In the last 24 hours, the weather remained dry in most parts of Uttar Pradesh, while light fog was observed at some places. Visibility has reduced to 600 meters in Agra and Varanasi.

Weather conditions and reason for cold

According to the Meteorological Department, north-western winds are increasing the cold in Uttar Pradesh. Apart from this, the cold winds coming from the mountains are bringing down the night temperature in the plains. However, the weather remains pleasant due to clear sky and mild sunshine during the day.
