TVS Reveals Apache RTX 300 20th Anniversary Edition – What’s Different?

TVS has given bike enthusiasts something exciting to talk about, as to celebrate 20 years of the Apache series, the company has unveiled a special Apache RTX 300 20th Anniversary Edition.

This is simply a special, limited-edition version of the popular Apache RTX 300, which is made to mark two decades of the Apache brand that first started in 2005.

Over the years, the Apache series has become one of TVS’s biggest successes, which is known for its sporty design and performance. TVS has already celebrated this milestone with special editions of the Apache RR and RTR models. Now, the spotlight has shifted to the RTX 300, showcased at MotoSoul 2025, which is TVS’s own motorcycle festival.

The biggest highlight of the Apache RTX 300 20th Anniversary Edition is its unique livery as the bike uses a base shade that closely resembles the “Lightning Black” colour seen on the standard model.

On top of this, TVS has added a wide champagne-gold stripe running across the fuel tank and tank shrouds. The golden stripe carries the Apache branding in big, bold letters. There are also gold touches on the headlamp cowl and the front wheel, which gives the bike a premium feel. The rear wheel stays black but gets neat gold rim stickers for balance.

To add more, TVS has also included red accents on various parts like the fuel tank, front fender, sump guard, and tail section. Even the brake callipers and the central frame get a bright red finish. These red elements make the bike look sportier and more eye-catching.

While the design is new, the mechanicals remain the same as the standard Apache RTX 300. The bike is powered by a 299.1cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine producing 36 hp and 28.5 Nm, paired with a six-speed manual gearbox. This basically means the bike offers strong performance, smooth acceleration and enough power for both city rides and highway trips.

Some important features include- ride-by-wire technology, assist and slipper clutch, cruise control for relaxed highway riding, Bi-directional quickshifter and multiple ride modes like Urban, Rain, Tour, and Rally. The motorcycle also comes with a 5-inch TFT display that shows information like fuel range, average speed, and economy.

The Apache RTX 300 is not just a good-looking bike, but it can also handle rough roads. It offers 200mm ground clearance, 500mm water-wading capability, a strong steel trellis frame, switchable ABS, traction control, and adventure-ready tyres. This makes it suitable for city streets, highways, and even off-road trails.

TVS has not revealed the price of the 20th Anniversary Edition yet. The special edition is expected to be priced slightly higher and TVS will announce the details soon.
