13 days after the brutal murder of a mother and daughter in Ghosipurwa, Gorakhpur, the police has made a sensational revelation. Neighbor Rajat murdered 75-year-old Shanti and her daughter Vimala with a hammer to please his girlfriend and loot money. The accused has been arrested.

When the double murder of an elderly mother and daughter, which took place 13 days ago, was exposed, it shook relationships, trust and humanity.
overnight friendship became the cause of death
75-year-old Shanti Jaiswal and her 50-year-old daughter Vimala Jaiswal were brutally murdered on the night of 23 November in Ghosipurwa area of Gorakhpur. The police was busy investigating this case and now it has been revealed that Rajat, who lives nearby, is the real culprit of this incident.

Aunt-nephew like relationship, but the intentions were creepy
Since there was no man in the house, Rajat used to come and go there for many years. He used to call Vimala as aunt and Vimala also treated him like a nephew. Meanwhile, both of them sat together and started drinking alcohol. Vimala trusted Rajat so much that while drunk, she gave him every information about the house, even the whereabouts of money and jewellery.
Craze to impress girlfriend
During this time, a girl comes into Rajat’s life. When he learns that the girl’s father is in debt, he tries to arrange money to make him happy. He remembers valuables and cash in Vimla’s house and from there the sinister plan of double murder begins.
Night of infamy and hatred, murderer trapped by CCTV
On the night of 23 November, he reached Vimla’s house with liquor. The plan was to make Vimla drunk and commit theft. But when the intoxication subsided, he picked up the hammer and attacked Vimla. On the other hand, hearing the noise, Shanti Jaiswal calls out from the room, Rajat reaches there too and attacks her with the same hammer and kills her. After this he runs away from the house with cash and jewellery.
SP City Abhinav Tyagi said that during the investigation, the police interrogated the neighbours, CCTV footage was scrutinized, in which Rajat was seen coming and going in the house. Suspicion deepened and when the police interrogated him strictly, he confessed to the crime.
Rajat just wanted to buy happiness for his girlfriend, but for this he snatched away two innocent lives. This incident which tarnishes trust has shocked not only Gorakhpur but the entire state. The police is now busy taking further action against Rajat.
