Lohagad Fort Murder Case Update: A new aspect has come to light during the investigation into the alleged murder of Pune real estate businessman Ketan Aggarwal. Some reports claimed that his fiancee Sia Goyal did not like him because he wore hair patches (wigs). The police clarified on Friday that the statement about Ketan wearing a wig is true, but till now no evidence has been found to say that this was the only reason behind the alleged conspiracy of murder.

According to the police, Ketan used to wear a hair patch but till now no concrete evidence has been found in the investigation to prove that this was the only reason for Siya Goyal’s displeasure. Police believe that there could be many other reasons behind the alleged murder conspiracy and the investigation is moving in that direction.
What did Ketan’s father say?
Ketan Aggarwal’s father Vishal Aggarwal said that the family had given complete information about Ketan’s hair patch to Sia and her family even before the engagement. He told reporters, “It is true that Ketan wore a small patch of wig. Sia and her family were informed about this before the engagement. If they had any problem with it, they could have refused the relationship. What was the need to kill my son?”
Siya had developed hatred for Ketan in her mind.
According to police sources, ‘Siya was not happy with this marriage. Because of Ketan’s wig and stammering, Sia had developed hatred towards him. Siya Goyal told that she had told Ketan that she did not want to marry him, but he was not ready to break the engagement. Ketan said that it is too late now.
Police claim: Chetan Chaudhary provoked Sia
In the investigation, the police claim that co-accused Chetan Chaudhary had instigated Siya Goyal to remove her fiance Ketan Aggarwal from the way. According to the police officer, the information received from both the accused during interrogation revealed that Chetan had allegedly inspired Siya to execute the plan of killing Ketan in Lohgarh Fort.
During interrogation, both the accused accused each other
According to the police, during initial interrogation, both Siya Goyal and Chetan Chaudhary tried to blame each other. However, later during interrogation, both of them accepted their respective roles in the alleged conspiracy. Investigators say the two were in a relationship since October 2025. Police allege that both of them chose the path of murder instead of running away because they feared that doing so would bring dishonor to their families.
The alleged murder plot was hatched several weeks ago
According to the investigating officers, this murder did not happen suddenly, but it was being planned for several weeks in advance. Police allege that Sia had also called Ketan to Lohgarh Fort on May 31 and June 14 to execute the alleged plan, but both the times the plan could not succeed. Another visit, scheduled for June 4, was also canceled due to Ketan’s mother’s refusal.
How the incident was allegedly carried out on June 18
According to the police, on June 18, Siya Goyal was sitting on the edge of a cliff. It is alleged that he gave a pre-arranged signal to Chetan Chaudhary. After this Chetan reached there and allegedly pushed the unaware Ketan Aggarwal into the ditch. According to an officer involved in the investigation, “Ketan had no idea what was going to happen. Before he could understand anything, he was pushed into the ditch.” This is the claim of the police and investigation into the matter is ongoing.
