As per earlier announcement, Humayun Kabir laid the foundation stone of Babri Masjid on Saturday. A huge crowd had gathered. The arrangements were very royal. Apart from the state, religious leaders also came from different parts of the country. It is heard that about 40 special guests were present in Humayun Kabir’s Babri Masjid foundation stone laying ceremony.

The foundation stone laying ceremony of Babri Masjid took place in Maradighi area of Beldanga, Murshidabad. Special arrangements were made for this. It is rumored that a big feast has been arranged for about 40 thousand guests. Shahi biryani has been prepared. Orders have been given to seven catering companies. Preparations for cooking had started from Friday itself.

A close friend of Humayun Kabir said that a platform about 150 feet long and 80 feet wide has been built for the foundation stone laying ceremony of the mosque. Sitting arrangements have been made for about 400 guests. Rs 10 lakh has been spent in making the stage. A close friend of Humayun has made a similar claim. He told that the guests will be given Shahi Biryani. Apart from 40 thousand packets of Shahi Biryani, biryani is also being made for 20 thousand local people. That means there is also an arrangement to distribute biryani after the program. However, Humayun Kabir has not said anything about this. It is heard that around Rs 30 lakh has been spent only on food and drinks in the programme.

Humayun had earlier claimed that three lakh people would gather on about 25 bighas of land near Maradighi turn near National Highway 12 in Beldanga.
