After this, Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal made an excellent partnership for Team India. Both of them had a very slow start but gradually they increased the pace and by making a big partnership of 155 runs in 25.5 overs, the outcome of the match was almost decided. Although Rohit (75 runs, 73 balls, 7 fours, 3 sixes) could not convert his strong innings into a century, Jaiswal left behind the failure of the first two matches and scored his first century in ODI cricket.

Whereas Virat Kohli, who came to the crease after Rohit’s dismissal, continued his excellent form and scored a quick half-century and along with Jaiswal made a partnership of 116 runs, helping the team win the match and the series in just 39.5 overs. Kohli scored unbeaten 65 runs (6 fours, 3 sixes) in 45 balls and Jaiswal scored unbeaten 116 runs (121 balls, 12 fours, 2 sixes).
