Himani More, wife of India’s Olympic champion Neeraj Chopra, has recently taken a big decision. Himani is now taking steps towards making a career in sports and fitness business by saying goodbye to professional tennis. Himani not only finished his game career, but also rejected a great job offer of ₹ 1.5 crore, which he got from America.
Himani’s father Chand Mor told in an interview about this decision that Himani had a sports-related job offer to Himani, which had a good package and a chance to work abroad. But Himani tried to start his own business by rejecting it.

The father said that this job offer was very big for Himani, but he took this decision to make his own identity and become self -sufficient. Himani spent a lot of time in the tennis world, but now she wants her contribution to be different in the field of sports. She wants to give a new look to the understanding of her game and fitness experience. She is now preparing to step into business related to sports and fitness, hoping that she can achieve a new place in the Indian sports industry.
Neeraj and Himani are married this year
Earlier this year, Neeraj and Himani married a simplicity in Solan, Himachal Pradesh. This marriage was completely private, in which only people close to both families attended. Their wedding was announced on social media and after that both of them moved to America. However, till now he has not given any grand reception, because he did not have time due to Neeraj’s busy training schedule.
Who is Himani Peacock?
Himani Mor was born in June 1999 in Sonepat district of Haryana. His association with tennis started in childhood. He started playing tennis from the fourth class itself. His inspiration in tennis got his cousin Naveen More, but his training was taken by his mother Meena More, who herself has been a PTI (physical training instructor).
The family wanted Himani kabaddi or wrestling to make his career, but his heart always felt in tennis. In 2018, he stepped into professional tennis and secured 42nd position in the AITA rankings in singles and 27th position in the same year. Himani made it to the top-30 in the women’s doubles rankings for about 14 weeks, which was a big achievement for her.
After completing his studies from Delhi University, Himani represented India at the World University Games. After this, he turned to America for further studies, where he gained experience of coaching and management along with his studies.
World Championship is Neeraj’s goal
At the same time, Himani Mor’s husband Neeraj Chopra is currently preparing for her next big event, World Athletics Championship (17-18 September). In this competition, he will try to take his fitness and form to a new level. Recently, Neeraj withdrew his name from the Silesia Diamond League to be held in Poland, making speculation that he was protecting himself for the upcoming championship. However, there is no concern about Neeraj’s fitness and his fans hope that he will perform brilliantly in the next event.
