They hold them and leave them in the forest. It has been doing this work since 2006. Alia’s husband is an animal doctor. Seeing them working, Alia also started saving wild animals. Today she is recognized for her work across the country. Alia said that I started the work of saving animals in 2004. Wildlife took care of stray animals in collaboration with SOS. After this, in 2006, Wildlife was fully connected to SOS. Save the lives of poisonous snakes is part of their work.
Alia is the first snake catching woman in Kashmir
Alia’s daily work is to save the lives of bears, birds, leopards and other animals. When an animal is in danger, they are called for help. However, people know them to catch more snakes. Alia is the first woman in Kashmir to start the work of catching and saving snakes.
Alia used to fear wild animals earlier
Alia said that she was afraid of wild animals earlier. In the early days of work, fear was more, but as the work worked, the fear went away. Now she has started understanding animals more well. Alia is a double post graduate from Science and Mathematics. He has been awarded the Wildlife Conservation Award.
