Vaibhav Sooryavanshi: Vaibhav Suryavanshi was not given a chance in the first T20 match against Ireland. New captain Shreyas Iyer won the toss and decided to bowl first. When he told about the playing eleven, Vaibhav Suryavanshi was not there in it. Vaibhav Suryavanshi has joined Team India for the first time and fans were hoping that he would get a chance to debut in the first T20 match against Ireland but it did not happen. Vaibhav Suryavanshi had performed well in IPL 2026 and the tri-series played on the Sri Lanka tour but he did not get a chance.

After winning the toss, Shreyas Iyer explained why Vaibhav Suryavanshi Did not get a chance to debut. Shreyas Iyer said, ‘Suryavanshi is an amazing player but he is sitting on the bench in this match. We have decided to retain only our experienced players in the team. When the time comes, Suryavanshi will get a chance.
