Indian Railways has stepped in to handle the sudden surge in passenger demand triggered by widespread flight cancellations across the country. To ensure smooth travel and sufficient accommodation, the Railways has expanded capacity on multiple routes and introduced special services to assist stranded flyers. A total of 37 trains have been augmented with 116 additional coaches, covering 114 extra trips nationwide.
