IndiGo Flight Cancellation News (New Delhi): Amid the nationwide crisis over IndiGo flights, a video of a passenger threatening to take off his clothes in protest has surfaced at the Delhi airport ticket counter. The visibly angry passenger took off his shirt and threw it away and repeatedly told the officers, ‘I will take off all my clothes’, as is clearly visible in the video. There is all-round protest against this error of IndiGo, which has become the cause of the country’s biggest air crisis. The incident occurred on a day when thousands of passengers were stranded. Indigo had canceled all domestic flights taking off from Delhi airport till midnight.
The company said- will refund the entire money
IndiGo announced on Friday that full refund will be given for all flights canceled between December 5 and 15. The airline said that the money will be processed automatically in the same manner in which the payment for the ticket was made. The airline said in a post on ‘X’ that during this period, the entire fee charged for ticket cancellation or rescheduling has been waived. To reduce the problems of passengers, arrangements for food and drink have been made in thousands of hotel rooms, ground transport and airports. Apart from this, IndiGo clarified that wherever possible, lounge facilities are also being provided to senior citizens. IndiGo has expressed deep regret to the passengers for these disruptions which are creating huge confusion at the major airports of the country.
Crisis deepens, more than 750 flights canceled on Friday alone
More than 750 flights were canceled on Friday alone. This is the largest figure since the crisis started. 550 flights were canceled on Thursday and 85 on Wednesday. Today, most flights were affected in Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad. Due to this, hundreds of passengers got stuck and their travel plans were spoiled. The airline canceled 235 flights in the capital alone.
