New Delhi: Xiaomi strengthened its India digital future as it closed the Xiaomi Internet Partner Conference (MIPC India 2026) in New Delhi. The event was attended by the top developers, advertisers and digital businesses to discover new growth opportunities that are driven by on-device AI. The executives of the company pointed out that AI-based innovation will define the next generation of Indian internet science.
To the audience, Nitesh Trivedi, the Head of Internet Business (Partnerships and Monetisation) of India and South Asia, stated that Xiaomi planned to provide richer user experiences as it expanded with partners. He observed that AI opens collaboration opportunities in hardware, software, and content services.
Xiaomi unveils three new on-device AI features
Xiaomi introduced new on-device intelligence features, including Xiaomi AI Search, Creative Tools, and Pet Companion. The Pet Companion feature adds an entertaining AI pet to the home page, which gives step-counting, weather warnings, and voice communication, closely connected with system apps.
Building an open and sustainable ecosystem
The company launched Minicard, which is an on-device, flexible tool, which enhances the number of apps converted and simplifies the process of onboarding users. New global prospects for Indian app and game developers was another point Xiaomi tried to make with the help of its global presence. Its Native Advertising Framework, OEM, and the Xiaomi ADS Platform also allow the brands to reach high-intent audiences with context-rich placements and improved campaign results.
The PatchWall platform by Xiaomi has been able to sustain high involvement in its Connected TV platform, which is supported by targeted advertising and enhanced content discovery. The Asia Cup and IPL, the major sporting events, further propelled the momentum of viewership. Trivedi also mentioned that a combination of PatchWall and Xiaomi TV+ can provide smart advertisement solutions that can make developers and brands thrive in the rapidly growing Indian online market.
