Noida Elevated Road Project: Preparations to construct a six-lane elevated road from Sector-94 to Sector-10 at Yamuna Pushpas in Noida intensified. This road, built at a cost of about 4000 crores, will connect Greater Noida and Yamuna Expressway and provide relief from traffic jams.

Yamuna pushta road noida: People are troubled by the ever increasing traffic in Noida and Greater Noida. It is common to get stuck in jams every day. In such a situation, now there is hope of relief. The government has intensified the preparations to pursue the plan to build an elevated road on Yamuna Pushpas.

Where will this road be built?

According to the proposal, it will start from elevated road Sector-94 Golchakkar till Sector-150. Further it will be connected to Greater Noida and Yamuna Expressway. This road of about six lanes can prove to be the most important connectivity road in the area.

How much will be spent and who will get approval?

About Rs 4,000 crore is estimated to be spent on the construction of this road. The Public Works Department (PWD) has sent a proposal to the Government and Noida Authority for this. Also, the process of taking NOC (No Objection Certificate) from the Irrigation Department has also started, as it comes under the Pushta Irrigation Department.

This road, which is parallel to the Yamuna Dam Road, can reduce the major problem of jam. Right now there is a huge crowd on the expressway. The new road will distribute traffic pressure and passengers will get a fast and easy journey.

What is the current situation in the area?

At present, there are many pits at Yamuna Pushpas, which is difficult to travel. A large number of illegal farmhouses have been built on one side of the tanning, while the sector, society and villages are settled on the other side. Due to this, the importance of road increases even more.

Noida Authority General Manager A.K. Arora said that the Public Works Department has expressed his desire to build this elevated road and now the government has to take a final decision on it. If the approval is received, the people of Noida-Greater Noida can get great relief from traffic jams in the coming years.
