While steaming, do not keep the child too close and do not heat the water excessively so that there is no risk of burning.

Special caution is necessary in giving steam to small children (less than 1 year). Do not make them sit directly in front of the steam, rather keep a bowl of hot water in the room and allow light steam to spread.
