Heavy rain alert in mp: The weather patterns in Madhya Pradesh have suddenly changed. The Meteorological Department has today released heavy rain alert in MP in 24 districts. Why was heavy rain alert released?
According to meteorologists, a low pressure area is active on southern Chhattisgarh (low pressure in Chhattisgarh). This system is affecting the weather of Madhya Pradesh. Along with this, the monsoon trough is spread to the Bay of Bengal via Guna and Betul. Due to this, moisture levels in the entire state have increased and intermittent rain continues.

The 24 districts in which the Meteorological Department has issued heavy rain alert includes-Bhopal Rain Update, Raisen, Sehore, Rajgarh, Vidisha, Narmadapuram, Harda, Betul, Indore, Dhar, Jhabua, Alirajpur, Barwani, Khargone, Burhanpur, Khandwa, Jabalpur, Katni, Narsinghpur, Balagada, Balagada, Jabalpur, Narsinghpur, Balagada, Balagad And Dindori. In these districts today, there can be a lot of rain with strong winds.
How long will the process of rain continue?
Meteorologist Abhijeet Chakraborty said that the low pressure area currently formed may weaken into the next 48 hours. However, on August 18, there is a possibility of a new low-pension system in the Bay of Bengal of Bengal, which can once again intensify the rainy season in Madhya Pradesh.

- 17-18 August: Heavy rains in Indore, Bhopal, Jabalpur and Narmadapuram divisions.
- August 19: Light to moderate rain in other parts of the state.
- From August 20: Once the new system is activated, the rainy season can begin once again.
