In the AI conference organized in Raipur, Finance Minister OP Choudhary appealed to the youth to adopt AI as an opportunity. He said that the one who learns and adopts AI will move forward in the future.
Raipur: Chhattisgarh Finance Minister OP Choudhary has asked the youth to see AI (Artificial Intelligence) and new technologies not as a threat but as a big opportunity to improve their future. He attended the two-day national conference ‘Artificial Intelligence & Digital Transformation: Opportunities, Challenges and Future Impact’ organized by Maharaja Agrasen International College (MAIC) as the chief guest. In his address, the Minister said that today the whole world is rapidly moving towards an economy based on technology, knowledge and innovation. In such a time, it is important for the youth to understand the change and keep pace with it. He said that India’s glorious history has also stood on the strong foundation of education, research and new ideas. This was the reason why India remained among the largest economies of the world for about 1600 years.
Need to learn from Elon Musk, NVIDIA and Apple
OP Chaudhary said that today the most successful industrialists and entrepreneurs in the world are those who have made their mark on the basis of new ideas and technology. Giving examples of companies like Elon Musk, NVIDIA and Apple, he said that today the value of many tech companies is more than the entire economy of many countries. According to him, the youth who will understand the technological changes in time will be the ones who will progress the most in the times to come.

Giving a clear message to the youth, the Finance Minister said, ‘The one who adopts AI will lead the future. Whoever runs away from this will be left behind in the competition. He said that every new technology definitely brings some challenges, but with it new opportunities also arise. Therefore, instead of being afraid, the youth should focus on learning and moving forward.
AI can do a lot, but cannot replace humans – Finance Minister
Talking about the growing power of AI, the Minister said that this technology can make many tasks easier and faster, but can never become a substitute for human emotions, sensitivity and human touch. He also advised the youth to pay attention towards healthcare, nursing and other service sectors where human understanding and sensitivity are needed the most.
Not just a job, also dream of building a startup
OP Choudhary told the youth that they should not limit themselves only to getting a job. Giving a message to the youth to move towards innovation, entrepreneurship and startup culture, he said that they should aim to create such companies which can be recognized globally in the future. He said that there is no dearth of talent among the Indian youth and Indian professionals have proved their capabilities across the world.
Chhattisgarh is moving ahead with ‘Developed India 2047’
The Finance Minister said that inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “Developed India @ 2047” vision, the Chhattisgarh government is also working rapidly on “Chhattisgarh Anjor Vision @ 2047” under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai. He said that under this scheme, Nava Raipur is being developed as a big center of technology and innovation.

According to the Finance Minister, work is going on at a fast pace on many big projects in Nava Raipur. These include semiconductor units, AI data centers. IIIT (Triple IT) has modern research facilities and new technology based projects are also going on. He said that these projects can give Chhattisgarh a new identity in the field of technology and innovation in the coming years.
