In the video that has surfaced, the woman is seen hitting the teacher with a whip 11 times within two minutes. In the video, she can be heard saying, “You molested a 15-year-old girl by stuffing a cloth in her mouth. I have proof. Confess to your crime, otherwise I will kill you.” At the same time, the madrasa teacher denied these allegations. Crying, he said, “I have done no wrong. I am not a criminal.” Another woman accompanying the woman recorded this entire incident on her mobile phone.
State in-charge of Rashtriya Cow Raksha Vahini, Sarvesh Kumar Singh has lodged a complaint along with the video. This complaint was given to Sultanpur SP on December 1. The complaint is against Maulana Haseeb, a madrasa teacher of Bahmarpur Gram Panchayat. Sarvesh Kumar Singh also said that earlier also another complaint was received from Kudwar police station area. Sarvesh Kumar Singh alleges that “children studying in madrassas are not safe.” Singh also demanded an investigation into the character and behavior of teachers of all madrassas in the district.
According to the report of Dainik Bhaskar, the woman who beat up the madrasa teacher runs a shop in Jamo town. Jamo police station incharge Vinod Singh said that efforts are being made to trace the teacher and the woman. It is not yet clear whether what the woman has said in the video is true or not. He also said that FIR will be registered only after everything is clear in the investigation.
