Skill Development Mission has played an important role in training the youth as per the requirement of the industries. Under the mission, 14 lakh youth were trained and out of these, 5.66 lakh youth got direct employment. This provided skilled manpower to the industries and a large number of youth got employment at the local level.

The increase in women employment has emerged as a strong example of social change in the state. Women’s participation in industrial employment has reached 25%.
