Auto Desk: If you have sold a car, bike or scooter, then you will have to transfer that vehicle in the name of a new honor. This process is done to update the records of registration. If you do not transfer to RC, many types of problems may be faced. Let us tell you the complete process to transfer this registration certificate.
Documents required to get RC transferred
To transfer the registration of the vehicle in the name of the new Honor, you need some important documents, which can be the documents in this way:
- Basic registration certificate of the vehicle
- The identity card of the car seller and the buyer (Aadhaar Card, PAN Card)
- Providence of vehicle registration (to RC)
- Form 29 and Form 30 (both sellers and buyers will fill)
- Insurance certificate
- Police NOC (when going out of the state)
- Sales bill and signature agreement (agreement)
- Registration fee payment receipt
First you have to apply in RTO
To transfer the registration certificate, you have to first go to the RTO office, which is close to you. After going there, you will have to submit the RTO with the documents given above after filling Form 29 and Form 30 well. The form will have complete information of transfer of the vehicle and signature of both sides (seller and buyer).

Fitness and pollution certificate will have to be checked
If you are selling more old vehicles, then you may need fitness and pollution certificate (PUC). This makes it clear whether your car is well fit to walk on the road. Also how correct it is for the environment. In such a situation, it will be right if you go with fitness and pollution certificate.
NOC will have to be taken on car documents (to sell in another state)
If you are selling your car in another state, then you will have to get a no objection certificate (NOC) from the police (nearby police station) on its all documents. By doing this, it is ensured that there is no legal loudness on the vehicle and is allowed to take it in another.
Transfer fees will have to be paid
To transfer the registration in the name of another honor, you will have to pay a fixed fee. This fee will depend on the type of state and vehicle. It is mandatory for you to pay this fee along with the application submitted in RTO.
New transfer certificate can be taken (from RTO Office)
After checking the all documents of the vehicle on behalf of the RTO, its registration certificate (RC) is updated in the name of New Honor. After this, New RC and other documents (insurance, pollution and fitness certificate) are sent to the owner of the new vehicle. Keep the new RC well. This proves that the owner of that vehicle is now new.
