UP team became the winner in All India Prizemoney Men Kabaddi Competition 2025. North Eastern Railway was the runner up. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath presented trophies and cash prizes to the winners, runners-up and third-placed Haryana-Andhra Pradesh teams.
Gorakhpur. The team of Uttar Pradesh performed brilliantly and won the title in Brahmalin Mahant Avedyanath Ji Maharaj Seventh All India Prize Money Men’s Kabaddi Competition-2025. The team of North Eastern Railway Gorakhpur was the runner up in the competition. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath distributed prizes to the players of the winning and runner-up teams.
Trophies and cash prizes for the winners
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath presented a check of Rs 2 lakh to the Uttar Pradesh team, trophy and medals to the players. The runner-up team of North Eastern Railway was given a check of Rs 1 lakh and a trophy. Players were also honored with medals. The third placed teams of Haryana and Andhra Pradesh were given a trophy and a prize of Rs 50,000 each. The Chief Minister also posed for a group photo with all the winners and runners-up players.

On this occasion, many public representatives and officials including Mayor Dr. Manglesh Srivastava, District Panchayat President Sadhna Singh, Legislative Council Member Dr. Dharmendra Singh, MLA Fateh Bahadur Singh, Mahendra Pal Singh, Pradeep Shukla, BJP District President Janardan Tiwari, Dr. Vibhrat Chand Kaushik, former Mayor Dr. Satya Pandey, Agricultural Production Commissioner Deepak Kumar and Sports Director Dr. RP Singh were present.
