Kunickaa Sadanand on defending Salman Khan

Speaking exclusively to us, Kunickaa said, “In fact, there was a big thing when that whole (Lawrence) Bishnoi thing happened, I had a fight with people who were propagating that he should be in jail and not giving him bail. I got death threats from them. Even then, neither did I reach out to him nor did he reach out to me. He probably didn’t even know that I was on debates.”

When asked if she got Bigg Boss 19 because of Salman, the actress denied it. Kunickaa revealed that Salman had nothing to do with her participation in the reality show. She recalled being contacted by Bigg Boss 19 makers in March.

“I took almost three months… talking to them, asking them 50,000 questions because I was very apprehensive. Bigg Boss had called me in season 2 and 5. I am a single parent. Aayan was very small. I could not fathom that I leave him and have no communication. This time, when I went, it was a great achievement. I have not put my phone off for the last so many years. Because I want to be available to my family, friends. So, it was something I never thought I’d be able to live through. My bond with Salman saab is that I have not seen him in 18 years. I’ve seen him on that screen. That was the closest I saw him after 18 years,” she added.
