Vrindavan Kathavchak Indresh Upadhyay Marriage: Popular storyteller Indresh Upadhyay, who is known across the country for his dynamic storytelling style and devotion, is going to get married in Jaipur on 5th December. Their marriage ceremony is not just a family event, but is taking the form of a spiritual Mahakumbh, in which famous personalities, saints and religious leaders of the country are participating. Storyteller Indresh Upadhyay will take seven rounds with his future wife Shipra.
Shipra is originally from Haryana. This grand event is taking place in the city which Indresh Maharaj calls Chhota Vrindavan, because idols like Govinddevji and Gopinathji are present in Jaipur, which were once brought from Vrindavan.
The wedding procession left Vrindavan with great pomp and show.
The pre-wedding rituals, like haldi and sangeet, were conducted with full pomp and ceremony at the residence of Indresh Upadhyay in Ramanreti, Vrindavan. Indresh Maharaj had a spectacular horse ride on Wednesday. Dressed in traditional attire, the Maharaja rode on a horse and accepted the greetings of the devotees with full fanfare. After Ghudchadhi, the narrator Indresh Upadhyay has left for ‘Chhote Vrindavan’ i.e. Jaipur with his wedding procession. Now the eyes of all the devotees and followers are fixed on 5th December.
