Rasgulla Shortage At Wedding: In a wedding in Bodh Gaya, Bihar, there was a lot of fighting between the families of the bride and groom over the lack of Rasgulla. In the CCTV footage that has surfaced, it can be seen how the wedding guests and gharatis threw punches at each other. Some were even seen pushing and throwing chairs at each other. It reached its limit when the wedding got canceled due to the fight over shortage of Rasgulla.

After the marriage was cancelled, the bride’s family filed a case of dowry harassment against the groom’s side. This incident took place on November 29 at a hotel in Bodh Gaya. Actually, the bride’s family was staying in the hotel. The groom and his family had reached there with a wedding procession from a nearby village. Police said that after the wedding rituals were over, the bride’s family created a ruckus over the lack of rasgullas.
How did the wedding hall become a battlefield?
CCTV showed that initially people were gathered near the food stall and everything was going well. Meanwhile, suddenly people started hitting each other and attacking with whatever they could find. People threw chairs and plates at each other. Many people from both sides have been injured in this. After the wedding rituals, the couple was going towards the wedding hall when a fight started in the group.
The boy’s side agreed, but the girl’s side did not agree to the marriage.
The groom’s father Mahendra Prasad confirmed on Wednesday that the fight took place due to shortage of rasgullas. He alleged that after the incident, the bride’s family filed a false dowry case, while the groom’s family had agreed to the marriage. However, the bride’s family decided not to take the relationship further. The groom’s mother, Munni Devi, alleged that while the fight was going on, the bride’s family took away the jewelery she had brought to gift her. At the same time, the groom’s family says that they had paid for the hotel booking.
