This system assesses the performance of districts on important aspects such as development work, implementation of public welfare schemes, revenue management and law and order. Ranking of districts is released every month, which increases healthy competition between different departments of the administration. Under the process, excellent performing districts are encouraged, while weak performing districts are given instructions for improvement.

The CM dashboard includes important parameters like health, education, infrastructure, sanitation, drinking water, electricity, rural roads and access to government schemes. Its aim is not just to expand physical structures but to ensure overall upliftment of every section of the society like farmers, women, poor and youth.
