CM Mohan Yadav Janmashtami Celebration: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav offered prayers on Janmashtami festival at the legendary Amka-Jhamka temple in Dhar district. The Matki burst program, cultural presentations and devotional atmosphere made the event special.
Sardarpur amka jhamka temple: The festival of Janmashtami is being celebrated everywhere with devotion and gaiety. In this sequence, the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Dr. Mohan Yadav reached the legendary Amka-Jhamka temple in Sardarpur Tehsil of Dhar district. This temple associated with Dwapara Yuga is considered to be related to the story of Lord Krishna and Rukmini Haran.
Why is the Amka-Jhamka temple special?
It is believed that this temple is associated with the Dwapara Yuga and the stories of the presence of Lord Krishna are recited here. Amka-Jhamka Temple is an important center of religious faith in the area, where thousands of devotees flock to visit Janmashtami. The presence of the Chief Minister made the event more special.
Chief Minister Yadav first visited the Dwapar Yugin site and prayed at the Ambika Mata temple and wished for the happiness and prosperity of the people. After this, he also visited the Chamunda Mata temple. The people and public representatives present in the temple courtyard honored the Chief Minister by presenting a traditional mace.

Matki bursting programs and cultural colors, who were present?
During the Janmashtami festival, the Chief Minister raised the traditional spirit by cherishing the cow’s calf. After this, he participated in the Matki bursting program and encouraged the enthusiasm of the devotees and the youth. The cultural programs presented by the artists in the program made the atmosphere completely devotional.
District in -charge Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya, Union Minister of State for Women and Child Development Savitri Thakur, District Panchayat President Sardar Singh Medha, former Minister Rajvardhan Singh Dattigaon, Indore Divisional Commissioner Deepak Singh, Dhar Collector Priyank Mishra and Superintendent of Police Manoj Kumar Singh were also present on the occasion. A large crowd of common people made the event more grand. On the occasion of Janmashtami, this program organized in the Amka-Jhamka temple was not only filled with religious rituals, but also a living example of the culture and tradition of the state.
