Mathura Vrindavan Development Projects: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced 30,000 crore schemes for Mathura-Vrindavan on Janmashtami. These development projects will give new identity to religious tourism and will give impetus to the economy of Braj sector.
Yogi Adityanath Janmashtami Speech 2025: On the auspicious occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami 2025, the atmosphere of Mathura was filled with both devotion and development. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath made a historic announcement by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who arrived among the saints and devotees in the Panchajanya Auditorium. He laid the foundation of a masterplan of 30 thousand crore rupees for the overall development of Brijkshetra and gave Mathura-Vrindavan a gift of 118 projects worth 646 crore.
Why is this announcement special? How will the situation change?
Chief Minister Yogi said that Shri Krishna resides in the holy soil of Mathura and this land is a source of spiritual inspiration for the world. He clarified that this masterplan is an attempt to connect pilgrimage sites like Mathura, Vrindavan, Gokul and Barsana with the memories of the Dwapar Yuga. Projects include beautification of the parikrama route, renovation of kunds, environmental protection, water management and work related to the convenience of devotees. Ropeway facilities in Barsana, entrance to Mathura-Vrindavan and better connectivity for devotees make this scheme more practical.

How much emphasis on the cleanliness of Yamuna?
Yogi said that as the Ganga has become Achman worthy today under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, similarly the double engine government is also working for the cleanliness and avidity of Yamuna. He assured that in the coming time, concrete steps will be taken towards making Yamuna clean and uninterrupted.
Spiritual heritage and modern development together
CM said that the whole world wants to research India’s spiritual tradition. This legacy is the path of global peace. Giving the example of Kashi Vishwanath Dham and Ayodhya Ram temple, Yogi said that the work which once seemed impossible has come true today.
Emotional moment at Shri Krishna’s birth anniversary
At the ceremony, Yogi Adityanath celebrated Janmashtami by cherishing the children and feeding kheer. The whole atmosphere became emotional while performing Annaprashan Sanskar of the children who came in Kanha-Radharani. Apart from this, he honored the saintly people and also released a documentary based on the glory of Govardhan Parikrama.
