Yogi adityanath krishna janmabhoomi visit: The festival of Shri Krishna Janmashtami is not only an opportunity for devotion, but also a day of inspiration for society and nation. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath gave the same message from Sri Krishna’s birthplace of Mathura on Saturday. He called upon the birthplace of Lord Krishna to follow the path of religion for Lokmangal, social unity and national interest.

Chief Minister Yogi reached Mathura at around 11:50 am and saw Thakur Keshavdev and Mata Yogmaya. He addressed the devotees after worshiping in the sanctum sanctorum. His address continued to resonate with Shri Krishna’s cheers. The Chief Minister said that this Brajbhoomi is not only the center of Krishna’s pastimes, but also a symbol of our spiritual heritage.

Spiritual heritage and balance in modern development

Yogi Adityanath said that for the last eight-nine years, he has got the privilege of attending Janmashtami and Barsana Rangotsav. He reiterated the government’s commitment to restore places like Mathura, Vrindavan, Barsana, Gokul, Baldev and Govardhan as a pilgrimage. He said that the construction of the grand Ram temple in Kashi Vishwanath Dham and Ayodhya is proof that Uttar Pradesh is a new paradigm in both spiritual heritage and modern development.

Special emphasis on cow protection, message of social unity and punch pledge

Describing Gau Mata as a symbol of Sanatan Dharma, the Chief Minister said that the state government is protecting more than 16 lakh cows. He informed that ₹ 1500 per month is being given to the cow slaughter. Yogi also said that along with the conservation of cow mother, the society will have to be cautious with the tendencies divided in the name of caste, region and language.

Yogi Adityanath, referring to the ‘Panch Pran’ of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, emphasized the freedom from the mentality of slavery, making Swadeshi a life mantra, inheritance protection and honor of the soldiers. He said that honoring the soldiers posted on the borders of the country and maintaining unity in the society is the foundation of the strong future of the nation.

New direction of development in Braj region

The Chief Minister appreciated the role of Braj Tirtha Vikas Parishad and said that this institution is leading the Braj region towards the new development paradigm with the help of public representatives and government. He insisted that the time is needed to connect this five thousand years old mythological heritage with modern development. At the end of his address, Yogi Adityanath called upon the honor of eternal symbols like Ganga, Yamuna, Gau Mata, Gayatri and holy pilgrimages. He said that these symbols are our identity and their protection is the responsibility of every citizen.
