S Sreesanth: Team India’s head coach Gautam Gambhir is the target of fans these days. Indian fans are angry with the head coach because first Team India lost the Test series against South Africa and after that there are reports that there is a tussle going on between him and Virat-Rohit. Amidst all this, former cricketer Sreesanth has given amazing advice to the head coach of Team India. Sreesanth said that Gautam Gambhir should not stop any player, especially not Virat-Rohit. Let us tell you what advice Sreesanth gave to Gambhir.
Sreesanth’s advice to Gambhir
Sreesanth said a very important thing on the question of whether Virat and Rohit will play or not till the World Cup 2027. He said, ,I would just like to say that Gautam Bhai, do not stop anyone. Especially don’t stop Rohit and Virat. Let them play as long as they want to play because both of them are ten thousand times better than all the players who are playing at the moment.,
Question on Gautam Gambhir
On one hand, while Sreesanth is giving advice to Gautam Gambhir, on the other hand, former cricketer R Ashwin has raised questions on his thinking through gestures. Ashwin raised the issue of Team India’s playing eleven on his YouTube channel. He asked why Nitish Reddy was not given a chance in the first ODI. According to him, Nitish Reddy should have been in the team in the absence of Hardik Pandya. If this is not happening then it is an error in selection.
Questions are continuously being raised on many decisions of Gambhir. In the Test series against South Africa, he dismissed Washington Sundar on first down in one innings. In the first match of the ODI series, Sundar came to bat above KL Rahul. Opener Rituraj Gaikwad is being given chances at number 4 instead of Pant or Tilak Verma.
