Culture of 2030 in India! American CEO was stunned to see so much progress, see the matter

US CEO amazed by India’s 10-minute delivery culture, says country is ‘living in 2030’ The CEO compared India’s 10-minute delivery culture to that of the US, saying that Amazon Prime’s two-day delivery “seems archaic” in comparison.

An Indian-origin CEO living in the US says the biggest surprise during her recent three-week visit to India was not the traffic, food or congestion, but the speed of the country’s instant-commerce ecosystem.

Varuni Sarwal, CEO of Trifetch on LinkedIn, compared India’s 10-minute delivery culture to the US, saying Amazon Prime’s two-day delivery “seems archaic” in comparison. According to him, while the US still believes it is the leader in innovation, India’s B2C logistics is “already living in 2030”.

“There are self-driving cars in San Francisco. In India everything happens in 10 minutes. I can’t figure out which one is more efficient,” he said of his trip to Ranchi to attend a friend’s wedding with his colleague Rosemary.

In her post, Sarwal told that on the day of the Haldi ceremony, the two realized that they did not have any dress. He told that in America, for this you would have to either run to a mall or wait for two days for the Amazon package. But the experience of Tier-2 city Ranchi was completely different.

Sarwal wrote that she opened the Blinkit app in her hotel and within 15 minutes, a delivery rider arrived with two traditional dresses. She was shocked by the depth of the Indian market, she said. She added, “The fact that high-speed B2C logistics work so seamlessly in Ranchi is proof that the ‘opportunity in India’ extends far beyond the top 1%.”
