Maruti e-Vitara
This will be Maruti’s first electric car. Its launch date is December 10, 2025. Its price can start from Rs 17 lakh and go up to Rs 22.50 lakh. This SUV will come with Maruti’s new design language. It will have LED projector headlamps, Y-shaped DRL and 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, which will give it a very premium look. Talking about the features, it will have a 10.25-inch touchscreen and 10.1-inch digital driver display. Also, fixed glass roof, Infinity sound system, ventilated front seats, 10-way power driver seat, Level 2 ADAS and six airbags will also be included. This car will come with 49kWh and 61kWh battery pack options. It claims that it will give a range of more than 500 kilometers. This Maruti EV will directly compete with models like Tata Nexon EV, Mahindra XUV400 and MG ZS EV.
Tata Harrier / Safari Petrol
Tata Harrier and Safari will now also come with petrol engines. Their launch date is December 9, 2025. It is expected that these will be cheaper than the diesel variants. Till now, the Harrier and Safari were available only with 2.0-litre diesel engines, but now both the SUVs are being launched with petrol engine options as well. It will have a new 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine, which will generate 160 PS power and 255 Nm torque. It will include 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission. This is the same engine that will also be used in the recently launched Tata Sierra 2025. With the arrival of petrol engines, the prices of these SUVs will become even more attractive.
kia seltos
The new generation Kia Seltos will be launched globally on December 10, 2025. It will come to India in 2026. The new Seltos has been spotted testing several times in India and Korea. It is expected that the 2026 model Kia will be introduced with a completely new design and features. Its look will be more boxy and SUV like. It will include new headlamp and taillamp designs. It will also get an updated dashboard and screen layout. The new Seltos will be launched in the Indian market in 2026, but globally it will arrive only in December.
