A special campaign has started in Noida under Ayushman Bharat Scheme. In this campaign which will run from 25th November to 25th December, Ayushman cards of eligible families are being made. So far, cards have been issued to 1.83 lakh people and the target is to make 2.96 lakh cards.
A warming initiative has started amidst the cold mornings of Noida. The crowd of people in the camps set up in different corners of the city is proof of how much relief the hope of free and cashless treatment brings. This campaign is like a new beginning for the people who have been living with the worry of expensive treatment for years, where just one card can become a health security of up to Rs 5 lakh for them.
Special campaign will run from 25th November to 25th December
A one-month special campaign of Ayushman Bharat Yojana has been started in Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh. Under this campaign, eligible families are being identified and Ayushman cards are being made available to them. The duration of this campaign, which started from 25th November, has been fixed till 25th December. Registration of people, health checkup and making of Ayushman cards are being done rapidly by setting up camps at various places in the district so that more and more families can avail the benefits of the scheme.

Till now 1.83 lakh people have got the benefit
Dr. Sanjeev Saraswat, nodal officer of Ayushman Bharat Yojana, said that about 80 government and private hospitals in the district are associated with this scheme. The facility to make Ayushman card is also available in all these hospitals.
- Till now Ayushman cards have been issued to 1,83,060 citizens in the district.
- The government aims to make 2,96,802 cards
- This special campaign is being run only to achieve this goal.
Special camp for those above 70 years of age
Under the scheme, camps have been organized especially for citizens above 70 years of age. In these camps, Ayushman card is being made immediately by showing Aadhar card and ration card. Locations where camps have taken place include:
- District Hospital, Sector-30
- All CHC and PHC
- Public Service Center (CSC)
- Panchayat Building
- Paneled Private Hospital
Cashless treatment up to Rs 5 lakh will be available
According to Dr. Saraswat, beneficiaries of Ayushman Card get cashless treatment up to Rs 5 lakh every year. This amount includes many expensive treatments, such as:
- major operations
- treatment of serious diseases
- treatment of accidents
- ICU facilities
- costly diseases like cancer
Beneficiaries can avail this facility in government hospitals of the district as well as empaneled private hospitals.

The nodal officer has appealed to all the eligible families to get their Ayushman cards made as soon as possible and avail the benefits of this important health protection scheme. If anyone faces problem in making the card, they can contact them directly.
