HIV Signs: If you see 7 signs then be alert immediately, it may be AIDS

AIDS and HIV symptoms: Taking the initial symptoms lightly can prove costly. With timely identification and treatment, you can manage HIV and stay healthy yourself and take care of others as well.

Most people get scared after hearing the name of HIV, but if its treatment is caught early then life can go on completely normal. The problem increases when people ignore the early signs. The initial symptoms of HIV often seem like a simple viral infection, so patients do not understand that they need a test. If you see these 7 signs, then it could be an alert from the body that something serious is going on inside and it is necessary to get an HIV test done immediately.

Persistent Fever & Fatigue

If there is frequent mild fever without any reason or the body always feels tired, then this can be an early sign of HIV infection. The virus enters the body and starts weakening the immune system, due to which energy starts falling.

Excessive sweating at night (Night Sweats)

It is normal to sweat while sleeping, but if clothes get wet due to sweat repeatedly and this happens even in AC/cold weather, then it is considered an early symptom of HIV.

Red rashes or rashes on the body (Skin Rashes & Red Spots)

Many HIV patients suddenly develop skin rashes. These rashes can be itchy and can appear without any allergy. If the rash repeatedly clears up and then comes back, do not ignore it.

Swollen Lymph Nodes

HIV first attacks the lymph nodes of the body i.e. swelling around the neck, armpits and thighs. If this swelling persists for 2-3 weeks and there is pain, consult a doctor immediately.

Sudden Weight Loss

If you lose 4–5 kg of weight in a few weeks without dieting, it may be a sign of weakening of the immune system. With HIV infection the body starts losing muscle mass rapidly.

Frequent cold-cough or infections (Frequent Infections)

Due to HIV, the body’s immunity suddenly starts falling. Like frequent cold, persistent cough and fungal infections cause non-stop throat pain. If you are falling ill frequently, this is a warning.

Loss of Appetite & Nausea

In the initial phase of HIV, many patients show symptoms like feeling upset after seeing food, flatulence, nausea or vomiting. This is a sign of the virus attacking the system.
