There is a verse in the book – Kuchailinam dantamlopdharinam brahvashinam nisturvaakyabhashinam. Suryodaye hystmayepi shayinam vimunch. The meaning of this verse is that a person who wears dirty clothes, does not brush his teeth, eats excessively out of hunger, speaks harsh words and sleeps at the time of sunrise and sunset. Mother Lakshmi leaves the house of such a person.

Mother Lakshmi loves cleanliness very much. She lives in a clean house only. She does not shower her blessings on those who always wear dirty clothes and do not take care of cleanliness. Due to this, there is shortage of money in the house of such people. Then the prestige in the society decreases.

to have dirty teeth

According to Garuda Purana, a person who does not brush his teeth daily or has foul smell from his mouth does not have Goddess Lakshmi. Then poverty starts appearing in the house of such a person. Dirty teeth are often a sign of laziness, ill health and a disorganized life.

Eating more than hunger is considered harmful for health. Also, it is told in Garun Purana that Goddess Lakshmi gets angry with those who eat more than their hunger. Excess food causes laziness in the body. Diseases happen.

In the scriptures, the time of sunrise and sunset is considered very sacred. Sleeping at this time is not considered auspicious. Mother is not happy with the one who does this.
