Dharmendra, the Heiman of Bollywood, passed away on 24th November. However, his fans were disappointed when the family decided to perform his last rites in a private manner. Now film maker Hamad Al Riyami told that Hema Malini told the reason behind the decision to keep Dharmendra’s funeral private.
How is Hema Malini’s condition after Dharmendra’s death?
Filmmaker Hamad Al Riyami posted a picture with Hema Malini and wrote in the caption, ‘On the third day of mourning, I went to meet Hema Malini, wife of late superstar Dharmendra. This was the first time I met him personally. Although I had seen them from a distance on many occasions before, there was something different this time… a painful, heartbreaking moment, something that is almost beyond comprehension, no matter how hard I try. I was sitting with her and I could clearly see the redness on her face, which she was trying to hide completely. She told me in a trembling voice, ‘I wish I was at the farm on the same day I was with Dharmendra two months ago. I wish I had seen him there. She told me how she always used to tell Dharmendra ji that why don’t you publish your beautiful poems and compositions? And he used to reply that not now… let me complete some poems first, but time did not spare him, and he passed away.

They hid their pain even from their close relatives and after a person passes away, the decision lies with the family.
