New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the media at Hans Dwar on December 1 ahead of the Parliament’s winter session. This will be the opening day of the sixth session of the 18th Lok Sabha.
The opposition parties have already warned the all-party meeting that the proceedings will not begin unless the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls debate is taken by the house. According to them, the SIR exercise raised serious concerns and must be debated in the parliament.
In response, Modi stated that the “winter session would play a decisive role in developing the nation and legislative work and ultimately take the nation towards greater progress.”
This is a developing story.
