Musk told his partner Shivon Zilis to be half Indian
During a discussion with Nikhil Kamath, Musk opened up about his partner Shivan Zilis’s Indian background. He said, “You know, my partner Shivone is half Indian. I don’t know if you know this or not.” Kamath replied, “I didn’t know that.” Musk further said, “Yes and one of my sons is named Shekhar, who is inspired by the name of Nobel Award winner Chandrashekhar.” Surprised, Kamath said, “Wow. Very interesting. Has he spent some time in India, Shivon?”
Elon Musk told his childhood story
Musk clarified, “No, she grew up in Canada.” Kamath asked whether he meant his origin or lineage, that is, from his parents or grandparents. Musk responded, “Yeah her father, I mean she was given up for adoption as a baby. So I think her father might have been an exchange student at the university or something. I don’t know the exact details, but, you know, it was a thing where, I don’t know, she was given up for adoption. Yes, but she grew up in Canada.”
Has shared information with Kamath after Musk encouraged him to become a parent. At one point Kamath said, “I don’t have children.” Musk responded, “Well, maybe you should have kids.” Kamath added, “Many people say I should be.” Musk assured him, “You won’t regret it,” after which Kamath asked, “What’s the best thing about having kids?”
