Air Hostess Harassment: Police have arrested a software employee for touching an air hostess with dirty intentions and molesting her while drunk on a flight coming from Dubai to Hyderabad. According to Rajiv Gandhi International Airport Police, a case of sexual harassment has been registered against the accused engineer, a 30-year-old resident of Kerala. According to crew members, the man appeared to be intoxicated during the journey.
Air hostess touched badly while serving food
According to the information, during the flight service last Friday night, when the air hostess was serving food to the passengers, the accused, seeing the opportunity, touched her with dirty intentions. The air hostess warned him and told this to her crew members and seniors. He also said that the man was drunk. Police said that as soon as the flight landed in Hyderabad, the cabin crew informed the captain and ground staff about the incident. After which he was arrested.

When the police caught the accused, he made an excuse saying that his passport was lost somewhere on the seat. When the crew member searched her seat and surrounding areas, not only a passport was found, but a piece of paper was found in which obscene words and abuses were written for the air hostess.
Court sent the accused to judicial custody
Police have registered a case against the accused engineer under Section 74 (assault or criminal force on a woman with intent to insult her modesty), Section 75 (sexual harassment) and other relevant rules of the Indian Justice Code (BNS). Police said that the accused was arrested and presented in the local court, from where he has been sent to judicial custody. The police are also investigating the amount of alcohol the accused had consumed and how he was allowed to reach the flight in this condition. At present, the airline company has started the internal process of no-fly against the accused passenger.
