These days, sunny sky and clear weather in Uttar Pradesh is making people feel relieved. The weather seems to be stable between the mild cold of the morning and the lukewarm sunshine of the afternoon, but this peace will not last long. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning that cold will start appearing in its true colors in the state from December 5. There may be a drop of about 3 degrees in temperature, due to which the initial signs of cold wave will be felt. Meanwhile, there is talk of cyclone ‘Ditwa’ active in the Bay of South West Bengal, but experts have made it clear that it will not have any impact on the weather of Uttar Pradesh.

There was not much improvement in the air quality even on Sunday night and AQI was recorded at 190 at around 7:30 pm.

Why is the weather changing?

According to meteorologist Atul Kumar Singh, the Western Disturbance active in Afghanistan and Central Pakistan is the main reason for this change. Due to this, hot winds from Rajasthan direction are moving towards North India, due to which an increase in temperature has been recorded in the last 24 hours. This situation may continue for the next 2–3 days.

There is a possibility of a layer of light fog in the morning, while clear weather is expected in the afternoon. The day temperature may remain slightly elevated till the first week of December, which will provide relief from the severe cold.
