The murder case of youth Rohit came to light in Bhopal. According to the police, the accused tried to show the murder as an accident to hide his identity. The accused was caught from mobile location. The investigation confirmed that he was HIV infected and information about his contact with many people came to light.
Bhopal Murder Case: A shocking incident has come to light from Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh and the adjacent Mandideep (Raisen) area, which has shocked the police administration and the health department. Katara Hills Police has arrested a crazy and psycho killer who, after having homosexual relations, brutally murdered an innocent young man by crushing him with a stone. The deceased has been identified as Rohit (name changed), a resident of Satlapur, who worked in a factory in Mandideep. On the night of 24th May, Rohit had left home for his night duty, but near a culvert near the Ecological Park located at 11 Mile Bypass, he met the accused Suresh (name changed), a resident of Bhopal. Who knew that this meeting would prove to be the last journey of Rohit’s life.

According to Katara Hills police station in-charge Sunil Dubey, the accused Suresh is a very vicious and psychotic person. During the first conversation he took Rohit into his confidence and fed him. After this, he seduced her and took her to a very isolated dark place under a culvert near the Ecological Park. There Suresh tried to forcibly have homosexual relations with Rohit. When Rohit strongly protested against this inhuman act, a heated argument and dispute started between the two. Angered by Rohit’s protest, the accused first pushed him hard and made him fall on the ground, forced himself on him and then to hide his identity and destroy the evidence, he attacked Rohit on the head with a heavy stone lying nearby. Due to serious injuries, Rohit died on the spot in agony.
‘Masterplan’ to mislead the police: Activa somewhere else, key somewhere else!
After committing the crime, this psycho killer hatched a vicious conspiracy to make the murder appear to be an ordinary road accident. He took deceased Rohit’s Activa and parked it near the barbed wires on the roadside, far away from the spot. To cement the conspiracy, he threw the car keys away in the bushes, so that the police and onlookers would consider it an accident. After this, the accused looted the mobile phone of the deceased and fled from the spot. It had become a blind murder case for the police, but a small mistake of the killer proved costly. Suresh sold the looted mobile phone to another person. When the police analyzed the call detail record (CDR) and collected technical evidence through mobile surveillance, the live location of the mobile directly revealed the address of the killer.

After Suresh’s arrest, when the police got him medically examined as per the normal procedure, the doctors’ report knocked the ground out from under the feet of the investigating agencies. Accused Suresh was found dangerously infected with HIV. The truth that came out during the strict police interrogation has frightened Bhopal. Accused Suresh confessed that he had been having unprotected sex with men for the last several years and after coming to know that he was HIV infected, he had targeted taking revenge from the society. He wanted to infect as many people as possible with this deadly disease.
Used to search for victims in VIP Road and New Market: More than 50 people on target!
The accused revealed that he used to roam around for hours every day in the busiest areas of Bhopal – New Market and VIP Road – in search of new partners. If no one was found there, then he would return to his home in Misrod. Police investigation has revealed that till now he has come in direct contact with more than 50 people. After this revelation, the police and health departments have now come into full active mode. Suresh’s old criminal record has also been scrutinized, which revealed that in 2023, he had already spent eight months in jail in a case of wrongdoing with a youth and three months in another case.
The administration is now strictly investigating the people he had come in contact with after being released from jail, so that all of them can be counseled and their health check-up done immediately and the infection spread by this silent killer in the city can be stopped. At present, the court has sent the accused to jail under strict sections, but this shadow of fear spread on the streets of Bhopal has alerted everyone.
