In the mass marriage ceremony organized in Ujjain, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav solemnized the marriage of his son along with 21 other couples in a simple manner. The program reflected the message of social harmony, blessings were given by saints and financial assistance was announced to many couples.
Bhopal. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav presented an example of social responsibility, harmony and simplicity. He got his younger son married in a mass wedding ceremony organized in Ujjain. Yoga Guru Swami Ramdev conducted this mass marriage program, in which the marriage of 21 couples took place. Swami Ramdev said that Dr. Mohan Yadav is the first Chief Minister who has taken such an inspiring initiative. This is an example to emulate for the influential, political and affluent people of the country. This can prevent unnecessary expenses in marriage and provide inspiration to middle and lower-middle class families. This step strengthens the spirit of “Sabka Saath – Sabka Vikas”.
Chief Minister’s son’s marriage became an inspiring moment
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav’s son Dr. Abhimanyu got married to Dr. Ishita in a mass marriage program organized in Ujjain on Sunday. This marriage took place in the same pandal with common people of all sections, giving a wonderful message of equality, intimacy and social unity. In the program, Governor Mangubhai Patel blessed all the newlyweds and described it as an excellent example of social harmony.
Group marriage as per Sanatan tradition
Welcoming the guests at the function, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that marriage programs are being organized in the state as per Sanatan tradition and newlyweds from all societies are participating in them. Brides and grooms belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes also participated enthusiastically.
Religious gurus appreciated the program
Pandit Dhirendra Shastri, present at the function, said that such low-cost mass marriage ceremonies should be promoted. He said that the society should accept such events and move forward. Pandit Shastri also said that the message of Srimad Bhagvad Geeta seems to be coming alive through this marriage ceremony. A beautiful scene of social harmony without any discrimination was seen in the program.
Announcement of financial assistance to newlyweds
In the mass marriage program, Mahant Ravindra Puri Maharaj, President of Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad Mansa Devi Trust Haridwar and Swami Hari Giri Maharaj, Chief Patron of Juna Akhara and General Secretary of the Council, announced to give one lakh rupees each to all the newlyweds. All the newlyweds including the Chief Minister’s son Dr. Abhimanyu and daughter-in-law Dr. Ishita received blessings from the saints. The food arrangement also remained simple and straightforward in accordance with the spirit of social harmony. Local police, administration and social organizations played an important role in conducting the program systematically.
Presence of senior leaders and public representatives
Karnataka Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot, Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, Union Minister of State Durgadas Uike, Assembly Speaker Narendra Singh Tomar, several ministers, MLAs and a large number of public representatives participated in the program. Everyone wished the newlyweds all the best and a happy married life.
