New Delhi: A fan breached security at the JSCA Stadium in Ranchi to run onto the ground and touch Virat Kohli’s feet during the first ODI between India and South Africa on Sunday. Kohli slammed his 52nd ODI hundred to help India post a big total of 349/8 on the board in 50 overs after being invited to bat first in the game.
The former India captain looked at his vintage best as he played a magnificent knock of 135 runs off 120 balls, which was studded with 11 fours and seven sixes. He celebrated his ton in style with a leap in the air and a roar. The Team India star then kissed his wedding locket before thanking his stars.
The fan, who evaded the security officials at the stadium to enter the ground, interrupted Kohli’s celebration. He fell on the Indian batter’s feet and was picked up by Kohli before being separated by the security officials. The moment was caught on camera and went viral on social media.
